The Host family has worked on the waterfront of the ports of Hampton Roads for over 100 years. My father founded T. Parker Host, Inc. in 1923. His business philosophy was centered on service, port leadership and expertise in all facets of the shipping industry.

Along with my two sons, I have carried on the principles my father so arduously instilled in the company. I am very proud to know that the tradition will continue. Presently, I am the Chief Executive Officer of the company and play an integral role in the leadership responsibility of ensuring that the port is responsive to the maritime industry's current needs.
