Our agency office in Corpus Christi recently handled their first steel pipe vessels, the Cielo Di Angra, Cielo Di Monaco, and the Cielo Di Pisa, for D’Amico. The steel will be used to build the pipeline from the oil fields to Cheniere, which is planning to build an LNG export facility in Portland, TX.

This office also handled their first wind tower ship in December. The Vega Lea, operated by Oldendorff, offloaded 84 windmill tower sections, which will be used in the construction of multiple wind farms in the area. (Although we have handled windmill blades before, this is the first shipment of towers.)

Finally, the Corpus Christi office was recently involved in Sulphur loading for the first time, as protective agents for PacBasin.

From everyone at Host, congratulations to our Corpus Christi team on a successful month of firsts! We always appreciate new opportunities to provide exceptional service.
