Host Terminals Gets Rolling in South Florida
Host Terminals' South Florida crew worked their first Ro/Ro operation on March 31st, loading 462 slings of Jumbo Quick Crete Cement aboard a vessel bound for the Bahamas. The shipment was the first of three.
The cargo is supporting the Royal Bahamas Defense Force as they build infrastructure projects in and around remote islands of Ragged Island, Matthew Town, and other parts of Great Inagua, Bahamas.
Led by Godfrey Wynter, our “A Team” of forklift operators and drivers loaded 462 Slings / 693ST in 3.5 hours. (That’s 132 slings per hour.) Great job, team!
