The Propeller Club of Baltimore held their annual Crab Feast on Thursday, August 14, 2014. This year’s event was held at the Conrad’s Ruth Villa located in Baltimore, Maryland.  Each year the non-profit organization hosts the event with thousands of maritime industry professionals traveling from various locations across the country to attend.  For over ten years, T. Parker Host, Inc. has attended the annual fundraiser and was represented this year by several team members including Cees van de Mortel, COO and Philip Tomlinson, Vice President Business Development for Host Terminals.

Each year, the T. Parker Host team looks forward to attending the event and inviting our guests to join in on the experience. This year we were joined by approximately 120 guests who enjoyed the all-you-can-eat crab at the 12.5 acre waterfront park located on the Middle River. The event not only is a great networking opportunity within the industry, but it helps the Propeller Club raise funds which are reinvested into the maritime community. This year the Propeller Club sold over 3,800 tickets and T. Parker Host was the second largest supporter of the event.  When not hosting the annual Crab Feast, the Propeller Club spends the rest of the year promoting maritime interests in the community, making charitable donations to numerous organizations, and providing several scholarships each year for higher education.

Tim Kassel, who heads up the T. Parker Host Baltimore office, also serves on the Board of Governors for the Propeller Club of Baltimore. “The combination of great weather and great attendance really made this year's event special.  The Crab Feast, the Propeller Club of Baltimore's annual fundraiser, is always a great opportunity to showcase to our customers and friends two things that really make Baltimore special, the Port and the Crabs!” said Tim.
