Adam Anderson Featured In “Virginia 500—The 2020 Power List”
Virginia Business recognized HOST Chairman & CEO Adam Anderson in their inaugural edition of “Virginia 500—The 2020 Power List,” a compilation of the state’s most powerful and influential leaders.
Adam has steered HOST through rapid scalable growth over the past decade, growing the company from 9 locations and 75 employees in 2010 to over 30 locations and 500 employees today.
Under his leadership, HOST was named the exclusive marine terminal operator at Tradepoint Atlantic, one of the largest terminal developments on the East Coast in 2016. Recently, he led the company’s acquisition of the former Avondale Shipyard, a 254-acre marine terminal on the Mississippi River, and UBT Davant, one of the largest bulk terminals in the U.S. Gulf.
His philosophy of reimagining supply chains and creating connections to global commerce has fueled the growth of HOST. He has kept our company smartly acquisitive, finding new opportunities to provide real and thoughtful solutions to our customers.
