Ascension Bulk Terminal

Located at Mile Marker 169 on the Mississippi River, Ascension Bulk Terminal is a 230-acre bulk handling facility specializing in coal, petroleum coke, and other dry bulk commodities. Rebuilt in 2014 and acquired by HOST in 2025, the terminal combines strategic river access, modern infrastructure, and continued investment to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable bulk cargo solutions.

Designed for efficiency and built for growth, the terminal offers deepwater access, high-capacity cargo handling, and specialized systems that improve throughput, cargo quality, and operational performance. HOST is investing more than $6 million in additional upgrades to further strengthen the terminal's capabilities and support our customers' long-term success.
